Facts checked

In short

MarkRelay runs the email for all of your domains from one app in your own Cloudflare account. Each address gets its own mailbox, each teammate sees only the mailboxes granted to them, and nothing is charged per domain, mailbox or user: one license from $99/year covers the whole Cloudflare account. Your team reads and sends mail in MarkRelay's webmail in the browser, and your apps and agents use its HTTP API, rather than a desktop mail client over IMAP.

No app-level domain cap

Add domains without a MarkRelay per-domain fee, subject to your Cloudflare plan and configuration.

Per-domain mailboxes

Create isolated addresses and mailboxes under each domain you own.

One console for every brand

Switch between brands and domains without juggling separate accounts.

Scoped personal API keys

Restrict a key to all accessible mailboxes, one domain, or selected mailboxes.

One inbox for every domain you own

Every domain and mailbox you run lives in one webmail. Open All mailboxes to work through mail for every brand at once, narrow to a single domain, or work from one exact address such as support@acme.com. Each message is tagged with the address it was sent to, so nobody replies to a Northwind customer from an Acme mailbox.

Search covers whatever you are looking at: text, sender, subject, read state and date, across one mailbox or all of them.

  • All mailboxes, per-domain and per-mailbox views
  • Unread counts per folder and mailbox
  • Threads keep replies together
  • No separate logins per brand

Add a domain in about 15 minutes

Add the domain in MarkRelay, then onboard it to Cloudflare Email Routing to receive and Email Sending to send; Cloudflare writes the DNS records for you. Route individual addresses, or a catch-all, to the MarkRelay Worker and create the mailboxes you want.

There is no domain or mailbox limit in the app and no fee per domain. The domain only has to use Cloudflare DNS, which the Free plan includes, and you keep your registrar.

Keep each brand's integrations apart

API keys and webhooks can be limited to one domain. A storefront for northwind.io gets a key that reaches northwind.io and nothing on acme.com, and a helpdesk integration can be narrowed further to just support@ and billing@.

People work the same way: grant someone the mailboxes of one brand and the other domains never appear for them.

What many domains cost

Email suites such as Google Workspace and Zoho Mail charge per user, every month, and costs climb with each brand and teammate. MarkRelay is one license for your Cloudflare account, Annual $99/year or Lifetime $249 once, with no charge per domain, mailbox or seat.

Cloudflare bills its own usage separately: Workers Paid ($5/month) includes 3,000 sent emails a month, then $0.35 per 1,000; receiving through Email Routing is free.

How your team uses it

People work in MarkRelay's webmail in any browser, on desktop or phone, and apps and AI agents use the same mailboxes over the HTTP API. Mail is read in MarkRelay itself rather than synced into Outlook, Apple Mail or a phone's mail app over IMAP.

It suits teams who already work in the browser and want every brand, teammate and integration in one place, with access granted mailbox by mailbox.

What 15 mailboxes on 6 domains cost per year

About 3,000 sent emails a month in total. Every mailbox is a separate address used by one person.

Common questions

How many domains can I add?

As many as your Cloudflare account holds. MarkRelay sets no domain or mailbox cap and charges nothing per domain. Each domain uses Cloudflare DNS, Email Routing to receive and Email Sending to send.

Is it cheaper than Google Workspace or Zoho Mail for several domains?

Cheaper than Google Workspace once you have more than a couple of people: 15 Business Starter users cost $1,260 a year, while MarkRelay is one license for the account (Annual $99/year or Lifetime $249 once) plus Cloudflare's own usage, about $159 a year in total for the same team. Zoho Mail Lite costs about the same as MarkRelay at that size, and MarkRelay stays flat as you add people. Workers Paid ($5/month) includes 3,000 sent emails a month, then $0.35 per 1,000; receiving through Email Routing is free.

Can I use Outlook, Apple Mail or my phone's mail app?

MarkRelay is used in its own webmail, in any browser on desktop or phone, and through its HTTP API. It does not connect to mail clients over IMAP or POP, so mail is read in MarkRelay rather than in Outlook, Apple Mail or a phone's built-in mail app.

Can each brand have its own team?

Yes. Grant people the mailboxes of one domain and they never see the others. Administrators see every domain.

Do I have to move my domain to a new registrar?

No. The domain needs Cloudflare DNS, which the Free plan includes: you change nameservers and keep your current registrar.
