Deliverability
Strong deliverability starts with an authenticated domain, expected email, clean recipient data, and consistent sender behavior. MarkRelay helps you apply those practices across mailbox and broadcast workflows.
Authenticate every sending domain
| Record | Purpose |
|---|---|
| SPF | Identifies the services allowed to send for your domain |
| DKIM | Adds a cryptographic signature to outgoing mail |
| DMARC | Defines alignment policy and provides authentication reporting |
Publish the records provided for your Cloudflare email configuration, then test messages with a mailbox at a major provider before sending to a real audience.
Build a healthy sender identity
- Use a stable From address and a recognizable display name.
- Keep reply handling active so recipients can reach you.
- Separate high-volume updates from critical support or billing mail when appropriate.
- Increase volume gradually for a new domain or audience.
- Avoid URL shorteners, misleading subjects, and image-only messages.
Send to the right audience
- Use recipients who asked for or reasonably expect the message.
- Remove stale and invalid addresses from imported lists.
- Set clear expectations at signup and keep consent records.
- Make sender identity and unsubscribe choices easy to understand.
Unsubscribe and suppression
Broadcast email supports one-click unsubscribe. MarkRelay checks its suppression list before sending and records opt-outs and recognized delivery problems so you can avoid repeatedly contacting addresses that should no longer receive email.
Administrators can review, add, or remove suppression entries from the Suppressions area. Only remove an entry when you understand why it was created and have a valid reason to resume sending.
Review campaign signals
Use sends, clicks, replies, bounces, and unsubscribes to understand list quality and content relevance. Open rates are useful as a trend, but privacy features in mail clients can affect them.
Before every large send
- Confirm SPF, DKIM, and DMARC are healthy.
- Review sender, Reply-To, subject, and preheader.
- Send tests to multiple mailbox providers.
- Check every link and the unsubscribe flow.
- Review the recipient source and suppression results.
